Course Aims
To provide students with an understanding of the issues involved, resources required for creating an online presence, and to provide some practical grounding in website planning, implementation and management via a development methodology.
As such, the course does not focus solely on techncial aspects of web site development (for example, HTML coding), but instead includes issues concerning structuring large sites, making decisions in regard to hosting sites, legal issues, ethical concerns, and future technologies.
